Hallie Wright: 7 months old!

7 months old!

Hallie is 7 months old today! There are so many changes. She is crawling great and getting fast. She just started pulling herself up on things and standing. Her 2nd tooth came in and I can see a 3rd one is about to pop up. She says mama and recognizes her name when we say Hallie. She loves the water, Bodie, walks, and swinging in the hammock. What a joy she has been!

Remember when...

Day 1- October 22nd, 2009 - Hallie Ann Wright is born - 3:01 p.m. 7.5 lbs 21" long

1 week

• sleeping so much

• sweet girl - very calm

3 weeks - Beau and Jenn visit

• following you with her eyes

• smiling at you

4 weeks - JT and Beverly visit, Zach, Amanda, and Ella dinner

• turned her head to look at me when I started talking

• starting to lift her head up

• stuck her tongue out after I did it first

• first bath in baby tub

5 weeks - Thanksgiving &Wichita Falls trip

• making lots of sounds - trying to talk

• smiling so much more

• sleeping 5 - 6 hours a night consistently

6 weeks

• sleeping through the night!

• loves her baths

• stretches with her arms straight above her head when she wakes up

7 weeks

• starting to stick her fingers and fist in her mouth

• blowing bubbles

• heard her first giggle

• went back to work, Aunt Becky is watching her :)

8 weeks - 11 lbs 6 oz, 23" long

Visit from Mimi and Papa Wright

• sleeping 8-9 hrs

• 2 month dr. apt - healthy

• got her shots (mom cried)

• smiling all the time, has the cutest sad face (sticks out her bottom lip)

• holding her head up (a little shaky)

10 weeks

• holding her head up great

• her nails are growing so fast

• her hair is really starting to get blond and is growing so fast

• sleeping on her side and tummy

• loves her hands - tries to stick both of them in her mouth at the same time

• drooling a lot

12 weeks

• making the cutest sounds

• cute giggles

14 weeks

• more vocal

• changing the pitch in her voice when she talks

• hair is getting long

16 weeks

• reached out for me for the first time

• started sucking her thumb

• discovered her feet

• got her first cold :( runny nose

• grabbing things and putting into her mouth

• almost about to roll over

• 1st time in nursery

18 weeks - 14 lbs 6 oz, 25" long, 15 3/4 head

• held the bottle for the first time

• rolling over from stomach to back

• giggling

• grabbing her tongue

• has eczema

• first trip out of the country to the Bahamas

5 months old

• sitting up on her own (sometimes falls backward)

• reaching for everything

• loves her baths and being outside

• rolling over front to back

• can do downward dog yoga pose

• sleeping up stairs in crib

• on a 4 hr. schedule

• starting to giggle more

• teething!

6 months old

Weight 16lbs. 13oz. (70%) Length- 26 1/4 (70%) Head-16 (30%)

• 1st tooth came in (April 16th)

• first feeding (avocado)

• eating so good, trying to feed herself

May 11th, 2010 - Crawled for the first time! (6 mo. 2 weeks, 5 days)

7 Months

• Pulling up and getting more steady on her feet.

• Second food: Swiss Chard

• Stands in crib when you come in to get her

8 Months

• Says "mama" and "dada" really good. When we say Bodie she says "Bu" "Bu"

• Is really starting to recognize people

• Florida summer vacation in St. Augustine.

• 1st food allergy - Peaches

• Used a walker and walked around with it for the 1st time

• Getting better balance on her feet

• Loves the water - has gone under a few times

• Hair is getting blonder and has a little curl to it

• Climbing the stairs

11 months

• walked for the first time on 9-19-2010

1 Year Old

13 Months

• can do "ring around the rosie"

• almost doing patty cake patty cake bakers man

• knows how to sign "more"

• gives kisses - blow's kisses

• got her fist kiss from a boy at the mall (dad witnessed)

• eats a lot! (one bottle in morning and one at night)

15 months - 22lbs, length 30 1/2, Head, 17 1/2

• laughing

• using a spoon

• scribbles on paper

• throws things away

words she say's - mom, dad, bo (bodie), no, yes, this, up, dora-dora - backpack-backpack, gigi, becbec, go-go, yea ha, cheese, ice, baby, hi, bye, moon,
